Auction Market Theory
How we read the Markets
We believe in the Auction Market Theory principles, following Value and Market Structure, in order to detect areas of interest where we trade.
We have an Edge
Our numbers show we follow a profitable process.
We trade what we see, not what we think
We know many people love trends and believe it is the only profitable way to trade. However, our approach is to trade the NOW, not what we think is going to happen in the next hour or more. That is why we trade quick momentum movements.
Who inspired us
We have learned from a couple of very well-respected traders. Without the knowledge they have shared with the world, we would not have been able to find an edge and be consistent with it. Special thanks to:
NV From where we heard the first time concepts like Auction Theory Market, tools like Market and Volume Profile, etc.
Jim Dalton The Godfather of the Market Profile.
Josh Shuler For showing us a beautiful way to read the Auction.
Peter Reznicek For keeping us updated daily with what the ES and NQ are trying to achieve.
Brian Shannon For giving us a practical way to analyze who is in control, buyers or sellers.
Camelback Trading For sharing daily their insights about the market.
FT71 We miss his daily analysis, but we learned a lot from following him.

Brokers
We recommend using a Broker that offers you Raw Spreads, and zero commission for Indices, like ICMarkets (outside of Europe) or ICTrading (for people in Europe).IMPORTANTWe are currently using a 1:200 leverage on Indices, which means that you need about $100 as margin when opening a position in Nasdaq (NQ, NAS, USTEC, US100, etc). We risk from 5 to 15 points, which is translated in 5 to 15 dollars loss per contract. For a small account like ours (400 EUR), that can be seen as risking between 1% to 3.5%, you must be comfortable with those numbers if you want to replicate proportional to your account size.
